Drug Treatment Programs

Whether you’re in need of a highly structured, medically-supervised program or simply looking for a supportive counselor to help maintain sobriety, New Roads offers a wide range of substance abuse treatment programs for young adults. At New Roads, we don’t treat the substance abuse problem in isolation. Instead, we focus on the person as a whole—mitigating self-destructive behaviors by repairing relationships, improving communication skills, exploring life road map development, developing self-esteem, and addressing problems.

New Roads serves clients at every level of need by providing specialized programs tailored to the developmental stages of young adulthood. To meet this goal, New Roads offers four unique programs in three well-appointed locations:

  • Drug Detoxification
  • Residential Treatment
  • Transitional Treatment
  • Intensive Inpatient/Outpatient

New Roads utilizes a therapeutic culture to increase responsibility, decrease negative, self-destructive behaviors, and aid in the recovery of alcohol and drugs. In addition to this therapeutic culture, clients can expect the following services:

  • Group counseling – includes Life Skills, DBT, Cognitive Behavior, and Developmentally Specific Groups among others
  • Individual therapy and counseling
  • Family therapy
  • Life coaching
  • Fully furnished apartments including utilities - We make sure that the client has a comfortable and drug-free living environment so that they can focus on their treatment and their journey towards a New Road
  • Educational options - We encourage and assist our clients in pursuing their GED, traditional college degree, distance learning courses, and certificate programs. We believe that education is a strong component of any plan for long-term sobriety
  • Medication management/assessment – We employ an on-staff physician who can assess and monitor protocols, progress, and dosage
  • Employment opportunities – We know that finding employment can be a difficult step for someone in the early stages of recovery. We work personally with clients to help ensure that the job-seeking experience is both productive and rewarding
  • Life skills groups focusing on self-reliance and “real world” experiences
  • Recreation - Yoga, gym, skiing, water sports, hiking, mountain biking, repelling, and many other experiential activities
  • Community service opportunities – Often, clients who enjoy fulfilling, sober lives want to give back to the community. We allow them to do so.
  • Random drug testing – Ensuring a sober environment is one of our top priorities. We want to make sure that your loved one is in a safe place where they can learn to live differently
